NDIS - Volunteering Success!

Meet Jason, our NDIS Participant who has been volunteering at Meals on Wheels Holland Park — gaining valuable work experience as part of his pathway to employment.

From peeling potatoes and plating meals to cleaning up and taking out the bins, Jason’s been getting hands-on experience in a real workplace setting and building his skills and independence. Even joining the team for morning tea helps Jason build social connections and confidence in his environment.

Our Support Coordinator Jacqueline is so impressed with Jason’s initiative — he’s ready to go the moment they step into the kitchen, actively looking for his next task and confidently completing every responsibility he’s given.
